GOA- Miami of India
It was a extended weekend for us and i took an additional day off at work to visit the most beautiful place of India, GOA.  We were 8 People mostly IT professionals from Bangalore who planned to visit GOA during Indian summer.  We started on friday night by train and reached next day at afternoon to Madgaon thats a place in GOA. We took a cab to reach to our destination which was 1 and half hr journey from madgaon. Finally we reached our destination, Baga beach . Our guest house was at 3 min walkable distance from the Baga beach. Let me tell you the amenities which were provided in our room @ guest house, a fridge, TV with TATA Sky connection and a AC :), what else do you need in a summer that to spending near a beach :-) .

Saturday:  Once we got fresh after reaching there we went for a walk on the Baga beach in the evening before sunset... and this was my first encounter on the beach of GOA. Trust me friends the view was awesome....  Lots of foreigners and beautiful Indians 2 :) . Baga beach attracts the best est crowd to relax and spend some quality time on the beach.  The guest house we were staying on the backside there was a commercial lane which had some shops selling almost all possible things you would think of near a beach. Eg: Shorts, T shirts, Tattoo shops, lots of Bear Cafe, and Disc. Yes you heard it right there were 3 discs on the lane, Tito's, IVY, Margao disc's with an amazing view. When you walk on that road you feel like you are not in India.

Saturday night is a heaven. In the night after taking our dinner which was very good we took  a walk on the beach and we found some amazing parties happening on the beach, people were flowing on the lane and beach till night 2. Awesome view..............

BTW to all vegies who are scared to visit GOA because of the rumours about non availability of VEG food.. Do not worry.. there are so many places around the beach who serve only VEG food. So dont worry.. :)

Sunday we started little late and we took Bikes to move around the city, you get Bikes on rent there. We moved to Calangute beach which is known more for Water Sports activities.
We went for some water rides, like JETSKI. Got a temporary Tatoo on my arms :)

At around 4 in the evening we moved back to Baga beach road after taking bath and had our lunch there. Then we left to explore Anjuna beach which was around 9 kms away from that place. We stopped a local store to buy Petrol for our bikes, now if you are wondering let me tell you Petrol is sold in almost every third local store near the beach area , because most of the visitors take Bikes to explore the beach area. we were about to start again for Anjuna beach we found 4 gals on 2 bikes , basically foreigners in a Party attire aasking us the address for Hill Top. Hill Top is a famous and popular disc near to Anjuna Beach.  We reached around 8 on Anjuna beach and we got dissapointed by not seeing many people on that beach.

We also heard that Cruise  is the must place to be visited, which  we couldn't do that.

Next day we hired a CAB, He showed us Miramar beach, Dona Paula View point  and then he took use to a place called Tropical Spice Plantation, its a 80 acre land, which has almost all types of plants which you have just heard but have not see...  there is a small restaurant inside which serves you some natural food. The best part was we also saw how Faini is prepared. Faini is a Liqour/Digestion juice u can say prepared from Cashew. We got a complimentary PEG and trust we all were on cloud 9.  After that he took us to OLD GOA Church which was a beautiful one.
