Hi Geetesh,
Was looking for Jain temples in Bangalore and found your useful info from your blogs.
I am from Chennai moving to Bangalore and looking for a good place of living near Manyanta Tech Park(Outer Ring road). I am looking for some good area where we have good number of north Indian living and find everything from Jain Templ to Dharmsala, Good Veg restaurants etc. Please do suggest me some good north Indian locality where i can search for good rental homes.
Thanks
Naresh
Dear Naresh,
Since you will be working out of manyata tech park, i really don't see any area which is very near by. However you can stay in Rajajinagar where you have two jain temples with many jains and north indians staying around. This should be the idol place. If not then you can stay in Sanjaynagar, Yelahanka or yeshwantpur.
VV Puram, Basavanagudi, Shankarpuram are the best places for jains to reside. Many jains live here. Very few Liquor shops and no meat shop.
Many jain temples and the one in VV Puram is beautiful and serves delicious food from 11.30 am to 6.30 pm @ a very reasonable cost.
